Compatibility
with different versions of Windows
ENUFF will work under Windows
VISTA, Windows XP (Home and Pro), Windows 2000, Windows 98, Windows
Me. It only requires about 10 MB of HD space.
Can I check the

Our computers
are networked. Will ENUFF
PC work on a network?
ENUFF PC will
work on a network. Please
check the program’s manual for more information.
When ENUFF is installed on a network, each computer must
have an authorized copy of ENUFF PC on it, in order for the
network capability to work. When ENUFF PC is networked users can
operate any one of the networked computers and time is deducted
from one computer (the one you will designate as an ENUFF server).
Is there a
charge for upgrades?
Regular upgrades for the ENUFF PC
program are free of charge for life. This excludes the cases
whereby the entire program may need to be re-done due to other
factors such as major changes in Windows Operating System etc.
Will ENUFF PC
work well with filtering software?
Many people use ENUFF PC with some
sort of filtering software. There has never been a known conflict
with any combination.
Is there a way
I can prevent my children form going to inappropriate websites
without purchasing a filtering program?
If you use Internet Explorer as
your browser, you can employ Internet Explorer's built-in Content
Advisor function. This would initially let you authorize each and
every website you allow them to access. Once authorized, users can
see these web pages on their own.
Can
children/users change the time or do anything else to bypass ENUFF
PC?
A user must log in to ENUFF using
his/her name and password. Once this happens, ENUFF PC knows who
is using the computer and while it will not limit
administrators/parents in any way, it will prevent all other users
from making any changes in an effort to bypass ENUFF PC. Many
users find ENUFF PC to be the most reliable product of its kind on
the market.

We have more
than one computer at home. Do
we need a license for every computer?
Every computer will require a
unique serial number (unlock code) for ENUFF PC.
Therefore, every computer must be unlocked using the price
structure found in our Download page.
How will I know
that you released a new version?
We encourage
everyone to visit our website from time to time and check for new
releases. To upgrade your version, you need to look for a newer
30-day trial which you should install on top of what you already
have. This upgrades your version.
Our children
are very smart. What if
they find a way to bypass ENUFF PC in the future?
In the past five years ENUFF PC has
become an extremely reliable and robust product based on what we
hear from our users. No
such software begins by being unbeatable.
However, with extensive testing, by thousands of users in
various situations, we have refined ENUFF PC to be a “bullet
proof “ product. If you
find something that no one has found in the past please upgrade
your version first. If this does not solve the problem, then
please bring it to our attention. Many of the things people have
found along the way was already fixed by the time they came across
the problem, so all they had to do was to upgrade their copy with
a new one. It has usually taken us 1-5 days to cure whatever
imperfection people may have found in the past.

What if I buy a
copy for my computer today and I change my computer in the future?
If you
upgrade/replace your computer you can transfer your license free
of charge by obtaining a new unlock code from Akrontech using the
www.enuffpc.com website (under Support).
Would it be
better if I had a copy of ENUFF on disk or CD?
The ENUFF PC
program will always begin by working in a trial mode.
This means that the copy you will download, would be
exactly the same copy you would have on a CD. Once you register
your copy, you can download a copy of ENUFF PC from our website
anytime and upgrade or reinstall. It is your registration with us
along with the serial number we issue you that matters and not the
medium ENUFF PC is on (ie. CD/Download).
How do I
save/store a copy of ENUFF for back up purposes?
There is no need
to back up and installed copy of ENUFF PC because a backed up copy
will not not work if restored. You can re-install ENUFF PC by
downloading a copy from our website and by installing or you can
save a downloaded copy on a CD so that you can install from the CD
in the future or install on to another computer. The last method
however (saving a copy of a CD) will not include any new
releases/updates to the program.
What do I do in
an emergency situation?
By emergency
situation we mean one whereby the ENUFF administrator may not be
able to get in because they forgot their password. It could also
mean that the computer has some problem due to some
software/hardware and a technical person needs to bypass the ENUFF
program. In such emergency situation, you can resort to an
emergency disk you create when you install ENUFF or to a method we
will provide when you need this type of help. You can also call or
email us if you are trying the program and you are in need of such
assistance. ENUFF has several built-in mechanisms to help in any
"emergency" situations. We will help you no matter what
the problem is, which should of course relate to ENUFF PC. Call or

How do I
register additional copies of ENUFF PC?
The

How do I
upgrade my copy?
You can download
a 30-day trial copy of ENUFF PC from our website anytime and
upgrade or reinstall. If you install a new trial copy on top of a
previously unlocked one on a specific computer, the older copy is
updated and all your settings are maintained. If the previous copy
has been uninstalled, you will need to reconfigure the new
installation.
Important: Before
uninstalling an older copy (if this is what you select to do),
then re-install a new version, it is a good idea to Export all the
user settings so that you will not need to re-create them from the
beginning. ENUFF PC provides an Export/Import option to do this.
How
do I reinstall ENUFF PC after a computer restore?
To re-install and activate ENUFF PC as a
registered user, please follow the steps outlined below
1. Download a new ENUFF 30-day trial copy
from our website www.enuffpc.com
and install it on your computer.
2. In order to unlock the new installation,
please try the serial number we have already provided. If the PC
ID number that the new ENUFF installation will display is the same
as the one your last provided, then the same serial number should
unlock the new installation. If the PC ID number has changed then
click on the following link for further details.

How do I exit
ENUFF PC when my computer is up and running (Remove ENUFF PC until
I restart my computer)?
Instructions on
how an administrator/parent can exit ENUFF PC appear in the
program’s manual. In
short, right-click on the lock icon (bottom right-hand corner of
your screen) and select Administrator, then Exit with your
password. When you re-start the computer ENUFF PC will be back.
We
don't need to have ENUFF PC running for a month. Can we disable it
but not uninstall it?
Yes. To
accomplish this, enter the ENUFF Configuration and on the screen
which contains the parent/administrator names and passwords,
uncheck the option "Activate ENUFF automatically when
computer restarts". To start ENUFF PC manually in the future,
click on Start, All Programs, Akrontech, "ENUFF PC".
How do I
uninstall ENUFF from my computer?
(We know many
people will be reading this section and we apologize if this
information will only work for parents/administrators!)
Exit ENUFF PC by
right clicking on the lock icon, then by selecting Administrator,
then EXIT.
Click on START,
(SETTINGS - if you have win 9X), CONTROL PANEL, ADD/REMOVE
PROGRAMS and click on “ENUFF PC" and uninstall with your
administrator password.
